Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection: Also on PS5 a hit! - the blockbuster

Uncharted is still one of the most popular PlayStation brands, so it is hardly surprising that the two appeared on the PS4 parts Uncharted 4: A Thief's End as well as the spin-off of The Lost Legacy is a Remaster received. From January 28 PS5 player for about 50 euros to get both games in the tricked Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. Who owns the games already on the PS4, receives the adventure double contrast, for 10 euros, provided it is not only PS Plus in the library.

The new features of the collection are primarily a native 4K resolution, ray tracing, 3D audio and improved haptic feedback through the Dual Sense controller. So we went again with Nathan Drake to Madagascar and Chloe Fraser in the Indian jungle to find out if the Remaster adjustments make the two fantastic games even better anyway.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves in the test

  1. 1Spektakuläre game bombs
  2. 2In a very good shape

Spectacular game bombs

In the spin-off of The Lost Legacy, however, we control Nathan Drake's ex-flame Chloe Fraser, who teams up precisely with Nadine Ross, to find the legendary tusk of Ganesha in India. However, the duo sparking always the nasty warlord ASAP with his soldiers in between.

In very good shape

However, the full potential is not retrieved because the different surfaces over which one moves are captured not particularly varied. As Castro's Playroom has already shown the launch of the PS5 us would be much more have been possible in this regard. This is true of the PS4 games for the multiplayer modes. Which are no longer included in to remaster namely. This is annoying, but basically Uncharted is eh for grandiose single-player campaigns.

Who owns the PS4 originals and would like to gamble again, so with a clear conscience can spend the ten for the upgrade. Who missed the adventures of Nate and Chloe so far, should anyway access, because even a few years after release are Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy still outstanding blockbusters.

My opinion

A very great, but not quite perfect remaster Collection.

Uncharted

Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy are both outstanding action adventures that I have been loved on the PS4. Now they are more in the legacy of Thieves Collection again pretty immersive and playful. So I have really enjoyed my return trip to Madagascar respectively India. Especially the 3D audio feature I liked, because the fights seem so even more realistic. Well, maybe it's because I'm so not easily surprised more of opponents that I have overlooked. Personally, I can live with that the multiplayer modes are missing that have never before been itching me. For some fans but that is certainly annoying. I's criticisms rather that one would have to give the implementation of the Dual Sense features even more trouble. Nevertheless: Very good Remaster two terrific games.
