Forecast for Launch in the West

In the Lost Ark festival during the LOA on Winter 2021, the developers have recently talked about their goals for the EU and US launch. The nearly 10 million registered account accounts from Korea and Russia want to double in the medium term. However, the Delegate Responsible assume that the launch first only to make the 200,000 players at the same time the EU and US servers uncertain.

For comparison, 913,027 players were online at Steam online at the All-Time Peak by New World. Smile gates developers, however, have experience that MMORPGs from Korea are not too popular in the West. If three months after release still 50,000 to 70,000 players play Lost ARK at the same time, one would designate that success.

Exciting statistics from Korea and Russia

In Russia and Korea, Lost Ark is already available for quite a while, and the festival trained the developers some impressive statistics:

83 percent of Korean players who started with Lost Ark played the game for more times — a good rate for a free2play game. There are even 258 Korean players who have logged in every day since the beta. Since June 2021 there are also 35,320 players who log in to Lost Ark every day. Since July 2020, the number of players on the Korean servers should be seven times greater. On the Russian servers, the numbers have risen since June 2021 (!) Even by 170 percent (!). Sales over the cash shop have been 21 times higher since July 2020.
